Our Commitment to Digital Accessibility

At The Nonprofit Template Shop, we believe that the Internet should be fully experienced by everyone. To this end, we do our best every day to create content that everyone can enjoy.

What We’re Doing in Pursuit of Accessibility

Our education and understanding of the topic of accessibility evolve daily, and as such, we continuously review our accessibility practices. For now, we take these steps to ensure that our content here and throughout the digital space can be enjoyed by as many people as possible.

  • Include this Accessibility Statement to communicate our efforts and progress towards helping to create a more accessible Internet;
  • Use the Pro version of Equalize Digital’s Accessibility Checker plugin to illuminate accessibility-related errors and warnings that inform fixes and changes to our website content and structure;
  • Use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.1 as our guide when creating content, developing functions and features, and addressing the concerns of our website visitors;
  • Offer ongoing accessibility training to members of our team;
  • Add descriptive and inclusive ALT text to all images;
  • Integrate navigational aids like skip links throughout the website;
  • Employ meaningful structural markup to make content easier to follow and understand.
